This page describes how Groom Match currently handles your information. Final legal wording still needs to be reviewed and provided by Groom Match.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect the details you enter: your name, email, phone number and ZIP code. Pet owners also provide dog and grooming-request details. Groomers provide business and service-area details.
What stays private
Your personal phone number and email address are not displayed publicly on Groom Match. Groomers initially see the grooming-request information needed to decide whether the opportunity may be a fit.
Messaging
Once a connection is made, communication happens through Groom Match's in-app messaging system. Only authorized participants should be able to access a private conversation.
Payments
Groomer connection payments are processed by our payment provider. Groom Match does not store your full card details.
Email notifications
We may email you about activity on your account, such as a new connection or a new message. You can adjust notification preferences in your account settings.
Your choices
You can edit or close your grooming request at any time from your account, and you can update your profile details whenever you like.
